Tenure-track Positions in Neuroscience Research at Nankai University, Tianjin, China

The State Key Laboratory of Medicinal Chemical Biology (SKLMCB) of Nankai University, Tianjin, China, invites applications for a number of tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Associate or Full Investigator. The applicant must have a Ph.D. and a strong publication record in high-quality peer-reviewed journals.The ideal candidate should have a research program in neuroscience. The areas we are particularly interested are: 1) Development of brain circuitry; 2) neural circuitry in normal and diseased conditions; 3) Mechanisms and drug screening of neurological and psychiatric diseases using human iPS cells as a model; 4) Studies and drug testing of using animal models of neurological diseases;5) Computational pharmacology of brain disorders.

SKLMCB is a multi-disciplinary research institute with lab space of more than 20000 square meters. Currentresearch directions include: 1) Molecular mechanisms of human diseases; 2) Structure-based drug design; 3. Drug delivery and bio-imaging.The lab provides an excellent scientific research environment which nurtures cross-discipline collaborations.
